CWH named #EarthMonthHero by Wyland Foundation

This Earth Month, the Wyland Foundation and its environmental education partner Toyota, along with CBS/KCAL, recognized the impactful work of environmental leaders in Los Angeles County, CA and Orange County, CA who are finding innovative ways to share their expertise, collaboration efforts and experience in creating healthy environments to build healthy communities.

CWH Executive Director, Wendy Ramallo was recognized as an Earth Month Hero for her work in championing environmental education and community engagement through science-based research, community dialogues and collaboration with CWH partners along the Los Angeles River.
