About This Event

Over the past ten years, CWH and our program partners established successful processes of providing technical assistance and building the capacity of small municipalities, Tribes, school districts, and community-based organizations (CBOs) to develop and implement multi-benefit projects that integrate stormwater harvesting and climate resiliency.

This symposium will explore the many accomplishments and lessons learned from CWH’s ReDesignLA program. Join us for a full day of inspiration, innovation, and connection at ReDesigningLA Together, where community leaders, creative thinkers, and environmental experts come together to share insights, spark collaborations, and shape the future of a

sustainable Los Angeles Region.

A Decade of ReDesignLA

Learn about ReDesignLA, a successful and long-standing model for capacity-building and developing community-led green infrastructure projects in Los Angeles County. This conversation will share ReDesignLA's origins and highlight a decade of community impacts.

Funding Community-Led Green Infrastructure

In order to build community-led projects, we need to fund them. This conversation will focus on the role that state, local, and private/philanthropic funders play in supporting Los Angeles County's green infrastructure leaders and projects.

Partnerships with Agencies

Partnership is key to ReDesignLA. Hear from leaders representing Agencies across Los Angeles County on how they partner with CBOs and Tribes to engage and build trust with communities, resulting in mutually beneficial outcomes.

Building Trust with Tribes

Tribes are an essential partner of our work in Los Angeles County. This conversation will focus on long-term trust-building and partnerships with Tribes and Tribal entities.

School Greening

Schools represent a significant opportunity for integrating green infrastructure and nature-based solutions into curriculum. This conversation will share the role CBOs play in actively engaging school communities throughout the project design and development process.
