We are calling on green infrastructure researchers and practitioners to showcase their work during the Soak It Up Reception and Poster Showcase.

Please direct all inquiries about the Poster Showcase to our team at info@watershedhealth.org.

Council for Watershed Health (CWH) and its partners recognize the need for common strategies and coordinated efforts to measure the benefits of green infrastructure (GI) projects. On March 25th, CWH will host a forum to examine GI success from science-based, ecological, equity-driven, watershed perspectives. The Symposium will culminate with a poster showcase and reception.

We invite poster abstract submissions (250 words max) for green infrastructure projects, case studies, research, and processes which will contribute to our pertinent discussion of the following topic areas:

  1. Ecological & Watershed Health - Urban ecology, climate resilience, and public/environmental health.

  2. Community & Social Benefits - Increasing equitable engagement, access and anti-gentrification measures, building capacity and meeting community goals and needs.

  3. Infrastructure Integration - Cultivating and coordinating (potentially unique) partnerships, creating collaborative networks, finding consensus and effectively communicating results between private, public, academic, and non-profit sectors.

We encourage you to highlight the methodology and metrics used to measure and quantify these benefits; how processes evolved to achieve goals; what innovative materials and design methods were utilized, and lessons learned.

  • Poster size must be NO larger than 36" X 48". Poster(s) can be displayed in either configuration (Portrait or Landscape).

  • You are allowed up to 2 posters for your project and you must indicate how many with your abstract submission.
